I hope you're looking forward to our rapidly approaching WRI Council and Assembly meetings, and our Antimilitarism In Movement conference! This email contains some of the documents we will be using over the course of our meetings.

Introduction to WRI: We're really glad that there are lots of people joining us for a WRI meeting for the first time - to help you make sense of the structures, processes and the jargon we've put together a short "introduction to WRI" document. We will also hold an introduction session to WRI on Monday 29th July at 9-10am, which will be an opportunity to ask questions and get up to speed with the rest of the meeting.

The draft agenda: the draft agenda document has been put together by the executive committee and covers the three days of our Council and Assembly meetings. The facilitation will be decided in our first Council meeting, but you may want to consider now whether you could facilitate one of our sessions.

Constitution and rules documents: one of our many important discussions will be on some proposed changes to our constitution and rules. The "constitution and rules" document contains the proposed changes, and an outline of the key proposals. We will have printed versions of this document in our meeting.

Five year staff and executive report: This document outlines all of the work that the staff, executive, and various regional WRI groups over the last five years. Apologies - we don't yet have any translations of the report into Spanish. The report isn't in an attachment, but is available on our website here: https://www.wri-irg.org/en/system/files/2014-2019-report.pdf

At the meeting we will have copies of the "Introduction to WRI" document, the draft agenda, and the constitution and rules documents. We don't plan to have copies of the five year report - if you think you will want a copy at the meeting please print it before you leave.

¡Esperamos que estén preparándose con ansias para nuestras reuniones del Consejo y la Asamblea de la IRG que se acercan rápidamente, y nuestra conferencia Antimilitarismos en Movimiento! Este correo electrónico contiene algunos de los documentos que utilizaremos en el transcurso de nuestras reuniones.

Introducción a la IRG: Nos complace mucho que haya muchas personas que se unan a nosotr@s en una reunión de la IRG por primera vez. Para ayudarlos a comprender las estructuras, los procesos y el lenguaje hemos elaborado un documento con una breve introducción a la IRG. También tendremos una sesión de introducción a la IRG el lunes 29 de julio de 9 a 10 am, que será una oportunidad para hacer preguntas y ponerse al día con el resto de la reunión.

El borrador del orden del día: el borrador del documento del orden del día ha sido elaborado por el comité ejecutivo y abarca los tres días de las reuniones de nuestro Consejo y Asamblea. La facilitación se decidirá en nuestra primera reunión del Consejo, es posible que deseen considerar ahora si podrían facilitar una de nuestras sesiones.

Documentos de constitución y normas: una de nuestras muchas discusiones importantes será sobre algunos cambios propuestos a nuestra constitución y normas. El documento "constitución y normas" contiene los cambios propuestos y un resumen de las propuestas claves. Tendremos versiones impresas de este documento en nuestra reunión.

Informe de cinco años del personal y ejecutivo: este documento describe todo el trabajo realizado por el personal, el ejecutivo y varios grupos regionales de la IRG en los últimos cinco años. Nos disculpamos - todavía no tenemos ninguna traducción del informe al español. El informe no se encuentra en un archivo adjunto, pero está disponible en nuestro sitio web aquí: https://www.wri-irg.org/en/system/files/2014-2019-report.pdf

En la reunión tendremos copias del documento "Introducción a la IRG", el borrador de la agenda y los documentos de la constitución y las normas. No planeamos tener copias del informe de cinco años; si creen que van a necesitar una copia en la reunión, imprímanla antes de viajar.
